CSP and partners receive $1.5M grant for science education program

Northern Arizona University is one of three institutions selected to receive a $1.5 million grant to launch the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program. This initiative will give undergraduates the opportunity to participate in mentored research activities in conservation biology and other disciplines related to land, water, and wildlife conservation. Students will work alongside researchers and professionals on a broad spectrum of projects in the Grand Canyon region and beyond. Potential projects include assessing the impacts of non-native invasive plants, the impacts of industrial fishing practices, and climate adaptation strategies for wildlife.
